Nunininooo. I am not in the mood to create a story out of this title. Not now that I am bangin' with headache, and maybe, soon, sinusitis. The title belongs to the recycle bin of ideas, only, it isn't, because it is a spontaneous creation of moi and Martin (The Restless Tenor) earlier. It evolved in just a matter of minutes at the Mindoro Room of Sofitel just earlier while we were getting dressed for the occasion. I was standing right in front of Ricca (THE Soprano 1) who was ironing her gown with such fixed attention. I, on the other hand, was battling with my own gown (the original gown assigned to me years ago). My skinny body several years ago was no more and I tried to ask for Ricca's help, since she was the only person standing next to me.

And then, the words "The Flame of Ricca" came out without a warning. The Flame of Ricca. My brain was clearly malfunctioning, trying to escape from the seriousness of the matter at hand. No matter what, I had to wear the same blue gown that everybody else was wearing that evening, because we are a choir. But The Flame of Ricca. That sounded like the popular Japanese cartoon creation during the 80's! Showing signs of senility, indeed. My mind was clearly working backwards, digging into the past.

But just when I thought I was being stupid, someone actually absorbed what I just said! "As narrated by Manny Pacquiao!", said Martin, The Restless Tenor. Thanks, now it makes more sense! It's just like Pacman's clever advice on how NOT to get scared of "fooling her" because Head & Shoulders will save the day (or one's hair day).

Back to my almost irresolvable case: there was just no way I could fit into my old gown. Therese (The Costume Custodian) heard her name and immediately sprinted to my side with what she hoped was "The One" for me. I found the lower half of my body still donned with the skinny-sized gown and the upper half about to be embraced by the newly offered blue gown. I was saved.

I should stop. My eyes are so furious they're about to turn into fireballs, or is it...The Flame of Ricca?? Ahahaha.
